Managing Monitors
Filter and sort your monitors to quickly find what you need.
Prerequisites
- At least one monitor in your project
1. Filter by Status
Use the status filters at the top of the monitors list:
- Navigate to Monitors in the sidebar
- Click a status filter to show only monitors in that state:
- All - Show all monitors
- Success - Only healthy monitors
- Partial - Monitors with regional failures
- Fail - Monitors that are completely down
Each filter shows a count so you can quickly see how many monitors are in each state.
2. Sort Monitors
Click the sort dropdown to change the order:
| Sort Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Created on | Sort by when the monitor was created |
| Last updated | Sort by most recent configuration change |
| Response Avg | Sort by average response time |
Toggle between ascending (oldest/lowest first) and descending (newest/highest first) order.
3. Combine Filters and Sort
Filters and sorting work together. Common combinations:
| Goal | Filter | Sort |
|---|---|---|
| Find slow healthy monitors | Success | Response Avg (descending) |
| See newest failures | Fail | Created on (descending) |
| Review recent changes | All | Last updated (descending) |
4. Navigate to Monitor Details
Click any monitor row to view its details:
- Current status and response time
- Response time chart
- Event log with status history
- Settings for editing configuration
Result
You can quickly locate monitors based on their health status and sort them by relevant criteria. This is especially useful when managing many monitors across different services.
