Holidays & Time Off
(Coming Soon) Plan around holidays and scheduled absences with smarter scheduling.
This feature is not currently available in Upstat but is on the roadmap for a future release.
What to Expect (Planned)
Holidays & Time Off support will eventually allow teams to:
- Mark specific dates as holidays for a roster or account
- Designate users as unavailable during time-off windows
- Automatically skip or reassign shifts that fall on these dates
- Reduce the need for manual substitutions or one-off adjustments
This will make long-term scheduling easier and reduce the chance of coverage gaps during key dates.
How to Handle It Now
Until this feature is released, you can:
- Use Substitutions to manually assign someone else for holidays or PTO
- Create short-term placeholder rosters for special events or blackout windows
- Note known time-off dates during your team’s planning process
