Team

View everyone in your account and understand who’s on call, available, or scheduled.

The Team section gives you a centralized view of all users in your Upstat account. It combines contact visibility, role awareness, and on-call status into one interface.


What Is the Team View?

The Team view is where you can:

  • See every user in the project
  • Check who is on call now or soon
  • Understand user roles and project involvement
  • Look up contact information
  • Support faster escalations and clearer ownership during incidents

What You Can See

Each user entry shows:

  • Full name and profile
  • Email and contact info (if provided)
  • Account and project roles
  • On-call status — including current, upcoming, or past shifts
  • Roster assignments, overrides, and holidays

Who Can See the Team?

All users in the account can view the Team section. This visibility supports trust, coordination, and clarity—especially in high-pressure incident scenarios.


How to Access the Team View

  1. Click Team in the left-hand navigation
  2. Use filters to narrow results by:
    • Current on-call status
    • Project involvement
    • Account or project role

You can sort by name, timezone, or role to quickly locate the right person.


Best Practices

  • Encourage all users to complete their profile (especially timezone and contact info)
  • Check this view before escalating — avoid guessing who’s on call
